I had such a great time today photographing baby Jacob. At one week old, Jacob was the perfect model! I used ambient light from the window and a low shutter speed to capture Jacob's details. Too often I see people use their flash on close-ups of their kids, giving them the "blown out" look. Turn off your flash and experiment with the natural light - I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with the result!
